On October 11, 2022, Academician Zhou Kesong-an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, an expert in materials surface engineering, a professor-level senior engineer at the Institute of New Materials of the Guangdong Academy of Sciences, and a doctoral advisor—visited our company to provide guidance.



Accompanied by General Manager Zhou Zhihong and other company executives, Academician Zhou Kesong and his delegation toured the UV Tech Material LTD. showroom and production facilities. General Manager Zhou provided Academician Zhou with a detailed overview of the company’s development history, R&D capabilities, production processes, production scale, equipment investments and utilization, as well as future development plans, with a particular focus on our company’s spray coating production processes and management.

Following the tour, Academician Zhou Kesong and his delegation held a discussion with Managing Director Zhou Zhihong to exchange views. Through this on-site visit and exchange, Academician Zhou highly commended our company’s R&D capabilities, investment in equipment, product commercialization capacity, and business development philosophy, particularly highlighting the breakthroughs in ITO technology and our ability to independently develop equipment. He expressed hope for strengthened future cooperation between the company and the Metal Research Institute and extended an on-the-spot invitation for our company to visit the Guangdong Institute of New Materials for an exchange. He also encouraged the company to continue deepening its R&D efforts, transform technological innovations into production capacity, and make greater contributions to promoting local economic development and the growth of the thin-film materials industry.

Profile of Academician Zhou Kesong
Academician Zhou Kesong specializes in research on surface engineering, including thermal spraying, thin films, and lasers. Many of his technologies have been successfully applied in key sectors of the national economy, such as aerospace, steel, packaging and printing, and nuclear energy, yielding significant social and economic benefits. He has served as an executive director of the Chinese Society of Nonferrous Metals, the Chinese Society for Surface Engineering, and the Chinese Society of Materials Science and Technology, as well as vice president of the Thermal Spraying Association.
